Hey, I'm Tristen!
I code and blog about tech, travel, and scuba
When I'm not building software, you can find me exploring the ocean, soaking up new cultures, or enjoying time with my wife and son.

Experiencing the world and making a positive impact on people are at the core of who I am. I'm passionate about technology and its ability to transform lives, and I love creating tools and applications that enhance daily life. My career has been a blend of business smarts and technical skills, focused on creating meaningful solutions. While JavaScript tech stacks are my go-to, I'm quick to pick up new languages and frameworks, always excited to learn!
Outside of my professional life, I am deeply passionate about travel and scuba diving. I love documenting underwater life and sharing that experience with others. My community work is also very important to me; During college I spent time in Kenya with Engineers Without Borders, building water collection systems for the Kolunje village. I am now working on launching a sustainable jewelry brand to make contemporary, lifelong-lasting jewelry more accessible. These experiences shape my perspective and drive me to make a positive impact in all I do.
